आ प्र द्र॑व परा॒वतो॑ऽर्वा॒वत॑श्च वृत्रहन् मध्वः॒ प्रति॒ प्रभ॑र्मणि
"HASTE forward to us from afar, or, Vritra-slayer, from anear, To meet the offering to the meath."

ती॒व्राः सोमा॑स॒ आ ग॑हि सु॒तासो॑ मादयि॒ष्णवः॑ पिबा॑ द॒धृग्यथो॑चि॒षे
"Strong are the Soma-draughts; come nigh: the juices fill thee with delight: Drink boldly even as thou art wont'."

इ॒षा म॑न्द॒स्वादु॒ तेऽरं॒ वरा॑य म॒न्यवे॑ भुव॑त्त इन्द्र॒ शं हृ॒दे
"Joy, Indra, in the strengthening food: let it content thy wish and thought, And be delightful to thine heart."

आ त्व॑शत्र॒वा ग॑हि॒ न्यु१॒॑क्थानि॑ च हूयसे उ॒प॒मे रो॑च॒ने दि॒वः
"Come to us thou who hast no foe: we call thee down to hymns of praise, In heaven's sublimest realm of light."

तुभ्या॒यमद्रि॑भिः सु॒तो गोभिः॑ श्री॒तो मदा॑य॒ कम् प्र सोम॑ इन्द्र हूयते
"This Soma here expressed with stones and dressed with milk for thy carouse, Indra, is offered up to thee."

इन्द्र॑ श्रु॒धि सु मे॒ हव॑म॒स्मे सु॒तस्य॒ गोम॑तः वि पी॒तिं तृ॒प्तिम॑श्नुहि
"Graciously, Indra, hear my call. Come and obtain the draught, and sate Thyself with juices blent with milk."

"The Soma seen within the vats, as in the flood the Moon is seen, Drink thou, for thou art Lord thereof."
