ऋ॒जुरिच्छंसो॑ वनवद्वनुष्य॒तो दे॑व॒यन्निददे॑वयन्तम॒भ्य॑सत् सु॒प्रा॒वीरिद्व॑नवत्पृ॒त्सु दु॒ष्टरं॒ यज्वेदय॑ज्यो॒र्वि भ॑जाति॒ भोज॑नम्

Translations (english)

"THE righteous singer shall o'ercome his enemies, and he who serves the Gods subdue the godless man. The zealous man shall vanquish the invincible, the worshipper share the food of him who worships not."

यज॑स्व वीर॒ प्र वि॑हि मनाय॒तो भ॒द्रं मनः॑ कृणुष्व वृत्र॒तूर्ये॑ ह॒विष्कृ॑णुष्व सु॒भगो॒ यथास॑सि॒ ब्रह्म॑ण॒स्पते॒रव॒ आ वृ॑णीमहे

Translations (english)

"Worship, thou hero, chase the arrogant afar: put on auspicious courage for the fight with foes. Prepare oblation so that thou mayst have success. we crave the favouring help of Brahmaṇaspati."

"He with his folk, his house, his family, his sons, gains booty for himself, and, with the heroes, wealth,believing Who with oblation and a true heart serves Brahmaṇaspati the Father of the Gods."
