तत्त॑ इन्द्रि॒यं प॑र॒मं प॑रा॒चैरधा॑रयन्त क॒वयः॑ पु॒रेदम् क्ष॒मेदम॒न्यद्दि॒व्य१॒॑न्यद॑स्य॒ समी॑ पृच्यते सम॒नेव॑ के॒तुः

Translations (english)

"THAT highest Indra-power of thine is distant: that which is here sages possessed aforetime. This one is on the earth, in heaven the other, and both unite as flag with flag in battle."

स धा॑रयत्पृथि॒वीं प॒प्रथ॑च्च॒ वज्रे॑ण ह॒त्वा निर॒पः स॑सर्ज अह॒न्नहि॒मभि॑नद्रौहि॒णं व्यह॒न्व्यं॑सं म॒घवा॒ शची॑भिः

"He spread the wide earth out and firmly fixed it, smote with his thunderbolt and loosed the waters. Maghavan with his puissance struck down Ahi, rent Rauhiṇa to death and slaughtered Vyansa."

"Armed with his bolt and trusting in his prowess he wandered shattering the forts of Dâsas. Cast thy dart, knowing, Thunderer, at the Dasyu; increase the Arya's might and glory, Indra."
