वात॒ आ वा॑तु भेष॒जं श॒म्भु म॑यो॒भु नो॑ हृ॒दे प्र ण॒ आयूं॑षि तारिषत्
"FILLING our hearts with health and joy, may Vâta breathe his balm on us May he prolong our days of life."
उ॒त वा॑त पि॒तासि॑ न उ॒त भ्रातो॒त नः॒ सखा॑ स नो॑ जी॒वात॑वे कृधि
"Thou art our Father, Vâta, yea, thou art a Brother and a friend, So give us strength that we may live."
यद॒दो वा॑त ते गृ॒हे॒३॒॑ऽमृत॑स्य नि॒धिर्हि॒तः ततो॑ नो देहि जी॒वसे॑
"The store of Amrit laid away yonder, O Vâta, in thine home,– Give us thereof that we may live."
