समि॑द्धश्चि॒त्समि॑ध्यसे दे॒वेभ्यो॑ हव्यवाहन आ॒दि॒त्यै रु॒द्रैर्वसु॑भिर्न॒ आ ग॑हि मृळी॒काय॑ न॒ आ ग॑हि
"THOU, bearer of oblations, though kindled, art kindled for the Gods. With the Âdityas, Rudras, Vasus, come to us: to show us favour come to us."

इ॒मं य॒ज्ञमि॒दं वचो॑ जुजुषा॒ण उ॒पाग॑हि मर्ता॑सस्त्वा समिधान हवामहे मृळी॒काय॑ हवामहे
"Come hither and accept with joy this sacrifice and hymn of ours. O kindled God, we mortals are invoking thee, calling on thee to show us grace."

त्वामु॑ जा॒तवे॑दसं वि॒श्ववा॑रं गृणे धि॒या अग्ने॑ दे॒वाँ आ व॑ह नः प्रि॒यव्र॑तान्मृळी॒काय॑ प्रि॒यव्र॑तान्
"I laud thee Jâtavedas, thee Lord of all blessings, with my song. Agni, bring hitherward the Gods whose Laws we love, whose laws we love, to show us grace."

अ॒ग्निर्दे॒वो दे॒वाना॑मभवत्पु॒रोहि॑तो॒ऽग्निं म॑नु॒ष्या॒३॒॑ ऋष॑यः॒ समी॑धिरे अ॒ग्निं म॒हो धन॑साताव॒हं हु॑वे मृळी॒कं धन॑सातये
"Agni the God was made the great High-Priest of Gods, R̥ishis have kindled Agni, men of mortal mould. Agni I invocate for winning ample wealth. kindly disposed for winning wealth."

अ॒ग्निरत्रिं॑ भ॒रद्वा॑जं॒ गवि॑ष्ठिरं॒ प्राव॑न्नः॒ कण्वं॑ त्र॒सद॑स्युमाह॒वे अ॒ग्निं वसि॑ष्ठो हवते पु॒रोहि॑तो मृळी॒काय॑ पु॒रोहि॑तः
"Atri and Bharadvâja and Gavishṭhira, Kaṇva and Trasadasyu, in our fight he helped. On Agni calls Vasishṭha, even the household priest, the household priest to win his grace."
